2. Defensive End

If it wasn’t apparent during the 2020 season, it was magnified during the Super Bowl and one of the ways to beat the Kansas City Chiefs is to get consistent pressure with the defensive line. The Bills didn’t get much production from their defensive ends last year and could use additional help here.

At the top of the depth chart is still Jerry Hughes and Mario Addison but both are getting towards the end of their careers. The coaching staff likes to rotate players though frequently and they will be joined by A.J. Epenesa and free agent signing Efe Obada.

However, another pass rusher to rotate in could be a tremendous boost this year but then looking forward as a possible replacement for Addison or Hughes. The bad news is that there are not many NFL-ready pass rushers and most have things they need to improve. The scouting here is going to be vital to find the right player that can help this position.
