Cody Ford

The last player is not one that they necessarily may actively be trying to trade away but if the offer was right, they would need to consider it. The past two seasons Cody Ford has been a starter for the Bills when he started at right tackle as a rookie in 2019. This past season he moved inside to guard before his season was cut short due to injury.

This position flexibility is what teams may be most intrigued by because he has shown enough that he could be a starting right tackle or guard in the NFL. However, the Bills now have their starting right tackle, Daryl Williams, locked in for a few seasons after he agreed to a new deal this offseason.

They also have Jon Feliciano back after he agreed to a new deal and the Bills did add Forrest Lamp, who was a starting guard for the Chargers last year. If the Buffalo Bills were to draft an offensive lineman, like Creed Humphrey, early on in the 2021 NFL Draft, then the team has enough talent to consider trading away Cody Ford.

Of the four players on this list, Cody Ford is the one player whose availability hinges the most on if they draft a player at his position. The depth on the interior offensive line isn’t great and the Bills couldn’t afford trading Ford unless they added a player they believe who could provide the same, if not more, than what Ford can.
