The final player is outside linebacker Cornelius Bennett, who was a key part of this defense during the Buffalo Bills runs to the Super Bowl. He joined the Bills midway through his rookie year after he was traded from the Colts.

Bennett would play nine seasons with the Bills, followed by three more years with the Atlanta Falcons and two seasons with the Colts. He would finish his career with 1,190 total tackles, 71.5 sacks, and 31 forced fumbles.

The individual awards are what sets Cornelius Bennett apart, and ahead, of Julian Edelman. He was named to the Pro Bowl five times, as well as a first-team All-Pro three times. However, he also won the AFC Defensive Player of the Year award in 1988 when he had 103 total tackles, 9.5 sacks, 2 interceptions, three forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries.
