4 former Buffalo Bills who should be Hall of Famers before Julian Edelman
Eric Moulds
If Julian Edelman is a candidate for the Hall of Fame then Eric Moulds, who is arguably the second-best wide receiver in franchise history, should be a candidate to get in before him. Moulds finished with 764 receptions (144 more than Edelman), 9,995 receiving yards (3,173 more than Edelman), 49 touchdowns (13 more than Edelman) in 186 career games.
The numbers for Eric Moulds become even more impressive when you consider the quarterbacks he had. While there was Drew Bledsoe and Jim Kelly, briefly, he spent a majority of his time with the Bills having quarterbacks like J.P. Losman, Kelly Holcomb, Alex Van Pelt, Rob Johnson and Todd Collins.
Meanwhile, Edelman had arguably the greatest quarterback throwing him passes to ever play the game in Tom Brady for every year of his career, except this past season.
In addition to more production during his career, Eric Moulds also made three Pro Bowls compared to Edelman’s zero. When comparing to the two resumes, Eric Moulds has more individual success and for that reason should be in the Hall of Fame before Edelman.
