As the NFL Draft approaches, the Buffalo Bills needs, or lack thereof, start to come into focus. General manager Brandon Beane continues to add depth players to this roster that can address an issue but also doesn’t stop them from adding a player in the NFL Draft if the value is right.
In the latest mock draft, with the help of the Mock Draft Machine at The Draft Network, the Buffalo Bills start out addressing a position that has been a weakness for a few years now.
Round 1 – 30th Overall: Caleb Farley, CB (Virginia Tech)
If there were no health concerns, Caleb Farley would likely not even be in the discussion for where the Buffalo Bills are picking. In fact, ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted out recently that Farley did well with his physical in Indianapolis with team doctors and this once again could push Farley further up into the first round.
However, if he were to slide the reward would outweigh the risk for the Buffalo Bills selecting Caleb Farley in the first round. He is a prototypical cornerback with all the physical attributes teams want in an outside corner.
The addition of Farley, opposite Tre’Davious White, would give the Buffalo Bills one of the top starting cornerback duos in the NFL and a player that could start right away as a rookie.
