Buffalo Bills: Ranking the AFC East prior to the 2021 NFL Draft
Last year, the Buffalo Bills won the AFC East for the first time in 25 years. They were a team on the rise and finally were able to get past the New England Patriots, who had run the division for nearly 20 years.
However, the Patriots struggled to maintain the level of success they had become accustomed to with the departure of Tom Brady, who left for the Tampa Bay Bucs. In fact last year it was the Miami Dolphins who would be the Bills’ biggest challenge as they finished 10-6 in head coach Brian Flores second season with the franchise.
The other team in the AFC East, the New York Jets, continued to struggle with head coach Adam Gase and they would finish the year 2-14, which was the second worst record in the NFL.
This offseason, every team has been actively trying to improve their rosters with seemingly all four teams having different strategies on how to go about that. As free agency winds down and before the NFL Draft later this month, I rank the four teams in the AFC East and where I think they are within the division.
