Jaylen Waddle
Another player the Dolphins could target with their first pick is wide receiver Jaylen Waddle out of the University of Alabama. Similar to Pitts, the former Crimson Tide wide receiver is a unique player that would allow the Dolphins to move him around on the field to create mismatches.
He is a smaller wide receiver at only 5’10” and 182 pounds but he has tremendous speed that will put pressure on opposing defenses. As The Draft Network writes in their scouting report, Waddle can line up outside, in the slot or even start in the backfield.
The Dolphins did add Will Fuller this offseason but a player like Waddle can really transform an offense. The Buffalo Bills could find themselves struggling to contain Waddle, especially if the Dolphins move him around and use a lot of motion.
