Buffalo Bills Running Back

Starter: Zack Moss

Bench: Devin Singletary, Matt Breida, Taiwan Jones, Antonio Williams, Christian Wade

The Buffalo Bills didn’t make many moves at the running back position with the team only re-signing Taiwan Jones as well as signing free agent Matt Breida to a one year deal. While this doesn’t mean they won’t, and there are a number of top prospects at the position they could target, this position should still look different.

One of the reasons is that moving forward Zack Moss should be at the top of the depth chart and ahead of Devin Singletary. The team’s third round pick last year started the year behind Singletary but after his injury early in the season he started to earn more work and by the end of the regular season had a slight edge in snaps and touches.

While the two backs have some similarities, Moss looks to be better suited to be a featured running back with the power he possesses, along with his ability to win in short yardage situations. If the Buffalo Bills don’t make any additional moves, then Zack Moss should be the starter this coming season.
