5. Cornerback

Draft Picks Total Value: 761

Draft Picks: Tre’Davious White (2017), Siran Neal (2018), Taron Johnson (2018), Dane Jackson (2019)

The cornerback position is another that the Buffalo Bills have used a high number of draft picks, drafting four players, but outside of Tre’Davious White, they didn’t draft a cornerback outside of Day 3.

In terms of value, the Buffalo Bills certainly got great value as Tre’Davious White has undoubtedly become the team’s top corner and one of the best at his position. As for Taron Johnson, he has been the team’s starting nickel for a majority of the past three seasons and with how much the defense plays out of the nickel formation, he is essentially a starter.

The difference-maker for this group will be Dane Jackson, who was a seventh-round pick last year.  He saw limited action but looked good in those games and should be competing for the starting job this season. If he wins, this is a position that has been invested heavily but has worked out well.
