Fifth Round (174th Overall): Marlon Williams, WR (UCF)

For the third straight pick in this best available player mock draft, the Buffalo Bills draft another former teammate of a current player. In the third round, it was Payton Turner (college teammate of Ed Oliver), Chauncey Golston (college teammate of A.J. Epenesa), and now Marlon Williams out of the University of Central Florida who played with Gabriel Davis.

This past season Marlon Williams was very productive with 71 receptions for 1,039 yards and 10 touchdowns, seemingly picking up for some of the lost production from Davis leaving for the NFL. While the two players have very similar builds, the Buffalo Bills could justify this selection if they view him as a big slot receiver, which is the ideal fit in his scouting report on The Draft Network.

One of the positions that the front office should be thinking about is a slot receiver and what it might look like after Cole Beasley. A big target like Marlon Williams could be a good fit for this offense at that position for Josh Allen.
