When putting together mock drafts, it is a balance of addressing the needs of a team’s roster and trying to find the best value throughout the NFL Draft. However, what if the Buffalo Bills just selected the best player available without taking into account position needs?

The Buffalo Bills this offseason has done an excellent job of retaining their key free agents and then finding low-cost free agents that provide competition entering training camp. There aren’t many glaring needs on this roster so while it is completely unlikely that Brandon Beane would just look at the top of his board and take who was at the top, I thought it was interesting to see what that might look like.

I used the Mock Draft Machine at The Draft Network and just selected the highest rank player at each pick and this is what the Buffalo Bills 2021 draft class could look like.
