Preston Brown

The Buffalo Bills drafted Preston Brown in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft and he stepped in as starter almost immediately. He would go on to have four straight years with over 100 total tackles, including 144 in 2017.

However, he didn’t seem like a great fit for McDermott’s defense and he left in free agency and signed a one-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals. He then agreed to a three-year extension after that season, however, played only nine games on the new contract before being released midway through the 2018 season.

After a brief stop with the Raiders, he was waived again and joined the Jacksonville Jaguars. He became a free agent after the 2019 season but was not signed by any team this past season. At 28 years old, he still has a chance to catch on with another team but it needs to be the right fit as Brown is more of a run defender and struggles in pass coverage.
