Brandon Powell

The Buffalo Bills this past week did make another move to create competition to replace Andre Roberts by signing Brandon Powell. This past season Powell was with the Atlanta Falcons and ended up being the primary returner on both kickoffs and punt returns.

He finished the year with 17 kickoff returns for an average of 20.2 yards per return and 17 punt returns for an average of 8.9 yards per return.

Brandon Powell was an undrafted free agent that started with the Detroit Lions and played six games in 2018. He was then cut during roster cutdowns prior to the 2019 season and spend most of the year on the practice squad. This past season he carved out more of a role and showed he could handle both roles.
