Plenty of starting experience

One of the things that Mitchell Trubisky will bring to this role is plenty of starting experience. After the Chicago Bears selected him with the second overall pick, he became the starter early in his rookie season after the Bears had Mike Glennon under center for only four games.

He was the stater for most of the next two seasons before splitting the role with Nick Foles this past season. For his career as a starter, Trubisky is 29-21 including going 11-3 in 2018. He also has started two playoff games, one in 2018 and one this past season.

This experience is important for the Buffalo Bills when considering they have their sights set on a trip to the Super Bowl after coming up one game short last year. Prior to signing Trubisky, the other two quarterbacks on the roster, Davis Webb and Jake Fromm, have never thrown a pass in a regular season game. This leads to the next reason why the signing of Mitchell Trubisky was a great move.
