As free agency rolls on, the Buffalo Bills have mainly focused on retaining their own talent. With that being said, the Bills declined to tender Levi Wallace making him an unrestricted free agent. This was a very dangerous move by the Bills to expose him to the free agency market, but Wallace was committed to coming back to the Bills. Wallace decided to return to the Bills on a one-year deal with high hopes that the roster is ready to contend for a Super Bowl in 2021.

Even after retaining Levi Wallace, the Bills are still lacking depth at the cornerback position. As of right now, the CB2 position is up for grabs between Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson. In limited snaps last year, Jackson proved that he is a competent NFL level cornerback. However, without any glaring needs on the roster the Bills could still address the cornerback position early in the draft. After re-signing Wallace, it’s definitely less likely that the Bills draft a cornerback at 30th overall, but it shouldn’t be ruled out.

Below I will touch on 4 different cornerback prospects in the upcoming 2021 NFL Draft that the Buffalo Bills should target as pre-season competition for Dane Jackson and Levi Wallace for the CB2 spot.
