Buffalo Bills Linebacker
Tremaine Edmunds, Matt Milano, A.J. Klein, Tyler Matakevich, Tyrel Dodson, Andre Smith
The linebacker position is unchanged from last season and it is likely to not have any more changes this offseason. The Buffalo Bills big signing was Matt Milano, who returned to the team on a four year deal, and will return to his starting role alongside Tremaine Edmunds.
As for the depth, A.J. Klein will continue to be that third linebacker when the Bills are in a 4-3 defensive set. He will also be the primary backup if either starter is forced to miss extended time. In addition to Klein, Tyrel Dodson will also serve as a backup and see limited action unless there is an injury.
As for Andre Smith and Tyler Matakevich, both are primarily special teams contributors but are important to this team. Andre Smith was a restricted free agent but agreed to a two-year deal while Matakevich reportedly got a one-year contract extension.
