The Buffalo Bills had three key starters set to be free agents this offseason and after reaching deals with Matt Milano and Daryl Williams, they were able to reach a three-year deal with Jon Feliciano.

Jon Feliciano was a key part of the front office overhauling the offensive line back in 2019. He entered training camp competing for a starting guard position but quickly won the job. He would go on to start every game in 2019 at the position.

This past season was a different story and Feliciano started the year on injured reserve after suffering an injury during training camp. There is no question that the Bills missed Feliciano on the field as the offensive line struggled to find any consistency.

When he returned, the offensive line improved but he also showed why he is so valuable to the team. He was able to step in at center in place of Mitch Morse, playing about three games in his place.

This is why a three-year deal worth $17 million is an excellent deal for the Buffalo Bills. The average salary of $5.67 million is the 21st highest total among guards but when considering he can be a replacement at center if need be, this is great value for the Bills.

Final Grade: A-

When the Buffalo Bills entered the offseason the thought was that if they brought back one of their Top 3 free agents, that would be a great start. The fact that they brought back all three, including two on the offensive line, is rather remarkable.

The Buffalo Bills got a chance to see what life would be like without Jon Feliciano and there is no question that his return will make this team better. The stability he brings to the line, combined with the versatility to step in at center, really makes this a great deal for the franchise.
