Tight End

The tight end position appeared to be another priority for general manager Brandon Beane at his press conference shortly after the end of the season. The Bills will have Dawson Knox returning next season but his performance was up and down and the team could be looking for more consistency.

After Knox, the team has plenty of question marks as Tyler Kroft is set to be a free agent, Lee Smith has hinted at retirement and Tommy Sweeney’s future in the NFL is up in the air.

Fortunately, the Bills will have plenty of options, in both free agency and the NFL Draft, that likely would not cost them too much. If they want a veteran to play alongside Knox there will be players like Kyle Rudolph and Jared Cook available or depending on what other positions they address, they could use their first round pick on a player like Penn State Pat Freiermuth.
