The first Clemson Tiger worth mentioning is the ultra-productive running back Travis Etienne. Etienne was a four-year contributor and three-year starter for the Clemson Tigers. He earned a total of 4,952 rushing yards and scored 70 touchdowns on 686 career carries. These numbers should jump off the page at you for four-year totals, and this is excluding his production as a receiver out of the backfield.

Personally, I’m more part of the camp that believes that the Buffalo Bills 2020 rushing issues were influenced more by poor blocking rather than bad running. However, the running back room could use some speed and Etienne has an abundance of speed. It is for that reason alone I think the Bills could be kicking the tires to explore the possibility of drafting Etienne.

With all that being said, Etienne is a high-quality prospect that is considered by some as the best running back in this draft. If he is the top running back in the draft that would likely require the Bills to select him with their first pick at 30th overall. With other pressing needs, I wouldn’t be in favor of that decision. However, if he’s still on the board for the Bills in the second round, I wouldn’t hate that pick.
