Byron Pringle

Another player the Buffalo Bills could target is Byron Pringle, who played the past two seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was an undrafted free agent signing in 2019 and over the past two seasons he has 12 kickoff returns, including 10 this past season. He has a career average of 30.4 yards per return and one touchdown.

While Pringle hasn’t returned a punt in the NFL, he does have experience from his time at Kansas State with 13 career punt returns.

Pringle also saw his role in the Chiefs offense grow and started three games last year at wide receiver. He finished the season with 13 receptions, 160 yards, and one touchdown.

The biggest challenge with Pringle is the Buffalo Bills may not even get the chance to offer him a contract. He is an exclusive rights free agent, so the Chiefs would need to offer him a one-year deal at the league minimum and he isn’t able to negotiate with other teams.
