Cordarrelle Patterson

At one time, Cordarrelle Patterson looked like he was going to be a draft bust after the Minnesota Vikings drafted him in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He struggled to develop into that top wide receiver but has been one of the top kick returners in the NFL.

He has played for Vikings, Raiders, Patriots, and recently the Bears and has made the Pro Bowl four times and selected to the first-team All-Pro team four times as well as the second-team All-Pro team three times. For his career, Patterson has 239 kickoff returns for an average of 29.8 yards per return and eight touchdowns.

During that time, he also has developed a role as being a gadget-type player, specifically as a running back out of the backfield. This past season, he had a career-high in rushing attempts with 64.

While Patterson is one of the better kick returners, he doesn’t return punts. This means the Bills would still need to add another player to handle these return duties.
