Re-sign Corey Bojorquez to multi-year deal

While the Buffalo Bills did reportedly bring in Michael Palardy for a visit last week, the focus should be to re-sign Corey Bojorquez to a multi-year deal.

Bojorquez has been the team’s starting punter since 2018 however it wasn’t until this past season that everything seemed to come together. He would finish first in the league in average yards per punt at 50.8 yards and had the longest punt in the league at 72 yards.

He is now set to be a restricted free agent and the Bills could tender him with right of first refusal which allows the team to match any offer but at a minimum would give him a one-year deal worth $2.13 million, according to Over the Cap.

This may not seem like a lot but in a year with the salary cap is tight it could make a difference. That is why the Buffalo Bills should sign Bojorquez to a multi-year deal that lowers the cap hit this season and spread out some of those dollars over a number of years.
