The Cleveland Browns are coming off one of their better seasons in recent history, similar to the Buffalo Bills, and suffered a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round. They appear to be a team on the rise and have more money to spend than the Bills.
When it comes to their defense, they have an excellent defensive line led by Myles Garrett but their linebackers are suspect. A player like Matt Milano would be a logical fit for this defense and help solidify the position.
According to Mary Kay Calbot of Cleveland.com, the Browns are expected to target Bucs’ linebacker Lavonte David but if they aren’t able to get him then Milano is on their radar and described as a close second.
This is probably the team that will pose the biggest challenge to the Buffalo Bills as they are on a similar upward trajectory and can offer top dollar in free agency.
