Trey Hendrickson

Another player who could be on the cusp of breaking out is Trey Hendrickson. He was a third round pick in 2017 by the New Orleans Saints and the first three years in the league was more of a rotational player, playing around 25% of the defensive snaps.

This past season though, he got a chance to be a full-time starter and finished the year starting 15 games and playing 53% of the defensive snaps. Hendrickson took advantage of the increased playing time and had 13.5 sacks and 25 QB hits last season.

At 26 years old, he is similar to Yannick Ngakoue in that he is a younger player who could just be entering the prime of his career. If he continues to play at this level, the Buffalo Bills would see a tremendous boost to their pass rush and he could be paired with A.J. Epenesa to give the defense two good ends after Jerry Hughes retires.
