Buffalo Bills reportedly met with Oklahoma State OL Teven Jenkins
As the draft gets closer, the list of players the Buffalo Bills have met with gets larger. It was recently reported by Justin Melo of The Draft Network and others that the Bills have virtually met with Oklahoma State offensive tackle Teven Jenkins.
Jenkins turned a lot of heads with his play at offensive tackle this past season with Oklahoma State. According to The Draft Network, Jenkins is the fifth best offensive tackle in this 2021 draft class.
At 6’6 and 320 pounds, Jenkins is a big boy who was capable of bullying opponents at the collegiate level. However, it will take more than just size and strength to win at the professional level. With playing experience at guard in addition to both left and right tackle in college, Jenkins has the versatility the Bills are always looking for in their offensive linemen.
The Buffalo right tackle from last season, Daryl Williams, might have played himself out of the Buffalo Bills’ price range considering the decrease on the salary cap in 2021. If the Bills decide to move on from Williams this offseason, Jenkins would be a solid plug-and-play candidate for them to select with the 30th overall pick.
With Jenkins’ size and strength combined with his run blocking acumen, there have been thoughts among draft scouts that Jenkins is a developmental offensive tackle and projects best as an NFL guard. If that is the case, perhaps the Bills keep Jenkins on their radar at 30th overall even if they decide to bring back Daryl Williams at right tackle and decide to let Jon Feliciano walk.

With all that being said, Bills Mafia should keep their eyes on this big guy out of Oklahoma State. If fans want to get familiar with his game I would recommend watching his 2020 game against Texas where he gets plenty of reps against edge rusher Joseph Ossai, a fellow 2021 draft class member.
