Over the years, the Buffalo Bills have had tremendous success in free agency by signing players like Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer, Cole Beasley, and recently Daryl Williams. This year the Bills are going to be limited in terms of cap space but could still find some bargains to improve their roster.

However, on the other side, there are free agent deals that don’t work out which can have just as much of an impact, but in the wrong way. These are four players that the Buffalo Bills might consider signing but should avoid.

Le’Veon Bell

The Buffalo Bills are likely to add a running back at some point this offseason to add to a group that includes Devin Singletary and Zack Moss. The question is whether they want to bring in a veteran or add a playmaker through the NFL Draft.

If they elect to go with free agency, the Bills should avoid former Kansas City Chiefs running back Le’Veon Bell. At one time, Bell was one of the best running backs in the league with the Pittsburgh Steelers however the past few seasons he has had between the New York Jets and Chiefs hasn’t had the same success.

When the Jets released Bell last season, the Bills were one of the teams to show interest in the veteran running back. Now that he once again is a free agent, they could have the opportunity to add him but they should look elsewhere to upgrade the position.
