Buffalo Bills: 3 quarterbacks to target in free agency
Mitchell Trubisky
The former second overall pick is a free agent this offseason and if he doesn’t get a starting job, it wouldn’t be the worst idea to sign a one-year deal with a team and try the free agent market next year.
This is something that Jameis Winston did last offseason and may have set himself with a starting opportunity this offseason. If Trubisky takes a similar route, the Buffalo Bills would be an excellent situation for Tribusky.
He would be joining a Super Bowl contending team that gives him a great chance at a Super Bowl ring. However, if he needs to replace Josh Allen, the Bills also have one of the best collections of wide receivers in the league. A strong performance in relief of Allen could only help his stock in free agency moving forward.
As for the Buffalo Bills, it provides them a backup with starting experience but also a player that has some ability to scramble. He has over 1,000 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns in four seasons. If the Buffalo Bills were to sign Mitchell Trubisky, it is a deal that could benefit both sides.
