1. Trading for Stefon Diggs

The best move this past offseason that the Buffalo Bills made was trading for Stefon Diggs. He had a breakout season and would finish the regular season with the most receptions and receiving yards in the NFL. He was named to his first Pro Bowl as well as being a first-team All-Pro.

However, at the time of the trade there was some question about whether or not the Bills gave up too much. The Buffalo Bills sent their first round pick in 2020 along with picks in the fifth and sixth round in 2020 and a fourth round in 2021 for Diggs and a seventh round pick.

There is no question that this was a lot to give up and the optics were made worse by the questionable trade the Houston Texans made just before. They sent DeAndre Hopkins, and a fourth round pick, to the Cardinals for David Johnson along with a second round pick in 2020 and a fourth round pick in 2021.

In the end though, the trade was exactly what the Buffalo Bills and this offense needed. Stefon Diggs became one of the top wide receivers in the NFL and at only 27 years old he has plenty of great years ahead of him.
