2. Signing Daryl Williams
At the time of the Buffalo Bills signing Daryl Williams, it remained to be seen how much impact he would have or where he might fit on the offensive line. The Buffalo Bills were bringing back every starter from 2019 while Daryl Williams was coming off a few down seasons.
The signing of Daryl Williams was one of the biggest value deals Beane has made as Williams would go on to win the starting right tackle job and would start every game for the Bills. In a season where the offensive line was hit hard with injuries, having Williams and Dion Dawkins as bookends on the line was a tremendous help.
According to Pro Football Focus, Williams would allow only three sacks all year and was graded as the 21st offensive tackle out of 75 eligible players.
The Buffalo Bills are now faced with the challenge of trying to bring back Daryl Williams and after his play this past season, they can’t expect to get nearly the same value they did with his last contract.
