Last offseason, the Buffalo Bills knew they needed to improve the defensive end position and went out and added Mario Addison and A.J. Epenesa. However, the new additions didn’t help the position as much as they would have hoped this past season.

The focus for this team should be how to beat the Kansas City Chiefs as they are at the top of the AFC and with Patrick Mahomes under center are likely to remain there for the foreseeable future. The Tampa Bay Bucs gave the Bills, and the rest of the league, the blueprint on how to beat Mahomes and this Chiefs team.

The Bucs did an excellent job of putting pressure on Patrick Mahomes and keeping him unsettled in the pocket. The key though was they were able to do it with just their front four and this is what the Buffalo Bills should be focused on when addressing the position.

These are the top questions at the defensive end for the Buffalo Bills that they must answer when formulating a plan for the position.
