Mike Remmers
The next two players should be targets for the Buffalo Bills if they bring back Daryl Williams or they believe Cody Ford is the answer at right tackle. These players at this point in their careers should be considered above average backups that could start if the need arose.
The first is Mike Remmers, who is another former Carolina Panther but recently was with the Kansas City Chiefs. He started 37 games for the Panthers from 2014 to 2016 then two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and one year stops recently with the New York Giants and Kansas City Chiefs.
The reason a player like Mike Remmers makes sense is he brings plenty of position versatility. He has started at right tackle, right guard and left tackle during these years. However, his best positions are likely right tackle or guard as he struggled when asked to play left tackle, with the latest example being the latest Super Bowl.
