One of the top strengths of the Buffalo Bills was their wide receiver position last year. The addition of Stefon Diggs helped completely transform the offense and other players, like Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis, put together impressive seasons because of the presence of Diggs.

While it was a strength last year, along with almost the entire position under contract in 2021, the front office is going to be left to answer some tough questions before free agency. These are the top questions for the Buffalo Bills this offseason.

Do the Buffalo Bills cut John Brown?

The biggest question looming over the wide receiver position is what they should do with wide receiver John Brown. He joined the Bills in 2019 and had a breakout season with over 1,000 receiving yards and six touchdowns in his first year with the team.

However, the offense struggled at times and the Bills needed a player like Stefon Diggs that could force defenses to focus on him and he still finds a way to produce. Even though Brown would be moving to be a number two wide receiver, he still had a chance to be effective in more winnable matchups.

This past season though, the veteran dealt with a number of injuries and really struggled to find success after the first few weeks of the season. He is now entering the final year of his deal but the Buffalo Bills could cut him and save nearly $8 million in cap space.

It is hard to imagine that Brown is on the team next year at this salary due to the emergence of Gabriel Davis as a rookie combined with the cap savings.
