Which free agents who were starters do they re-sign?

The final question for the front office is which starters from last year should the Buffalo Bills try to re-sign before free agency. At the top of the list is starting right guard Jon Feliciano and starting right tackle Daryl Williams. They also have restricted free agent Ike Boettger, who finished the year as the starting left guard, that they must make a decision on.

If the Buffalo Bills end up cutting Mitch Morse, or believe Cody Ford is a starting right tackle, then Jon Feliciano becomes the priority. The veteran can play both guard or center and when he returned midway through the year, the offensive line was much improved.

If the coaching staff believes Ford is better as a guard, and they restructure Mitch Morse’s contract, then Daryl Williams should be the priority. The Bills signed him as a free agent last year and he earned the starting right tackle job, starting every game last year for the team.

As much as the Bills would like to bring back both free agents, they are likely only going to have enough cap space to retain one of those two players and Cody Ford could end up being the deciding factor of which player returns.
