Buffalo Bills: 4 Running backs to target in free agency
Ameer Abdullah
What he brings: Special Teams experience
This last running back would be more of a replacement for Taiwan Jones rather than helping Devin Singletary and Zack Moss. The addition of Ameer Abdullah would indicate more that the Bills front office would add another running back in the NFL Draft or are confident in the duo moving forward.
As for Abdullah, he has spent roughly the past 2.5 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings after being a draft bust for the Detroit Lions. He changed his role and became a valuable part of the Vikings special teams group and has played 60% and 54% of the special teams snaps the past two years.
In addition to being on coverage teams, he also has experience as a kick returner and could be another replacement for Andre Roberts if the Buffalo Bills move on from their three-time Pro Bowler.
