Mark Ingram

What he brings: Veteran experience

One of the things the Buffalo Bills are missing in this backfield is a veteran presence with Devin Singletary entering his third season and Zack Moss entering his second. In Singletary’s rookie season, the Bills had Frank Gore to help lead the group and if the Bills want to go that route again, a player like Mark Ingram would be perfect.

Baltimore Ravens’ reporter Garrett Downing put together a video after Ingram was released describing exactly what he brought to the position and the locker room, helping rookie J.K. Dobbins along his rookie season. This would be a perfect addition for the Bills in 2021.

However, he can also still contribute on the field as he is one of the best pass protecting running backs in the NFL. He also has been effective back running between the tackles and has a career average of 4.6 yards per carry.

He is a little bit older at 31 years old but he could be a good third option for 10-20 snaps a game that brings a veteran presence to the position.
