Justin Zimmer

Season Stats: 12 games played, 21 total tackles, 1 sack, 7 QB hits

As mentioned previously, if there was one player that stood out this year it was defensive tackle Justin Zimmer. He joined the Buffalo Bills during training camp and eventually earned a spot on the practice squad. He quickly saw his first action with the Bills as he was called up for Week 1.

He would return to the practice squad but was called back up Week 6 and shortly after was a permanent addition on the active roster. Zimmer finished the year as one of the most effective pass rushers for the Buffalo Bills finishing fifth on the team in QB hits with 7 while playing only 26% of the defensive snaps last year.

While Zimmer may not be a starter, he has certainly earned a spot in the rotation next season at the position.
