Winning first playoff game in 25 years

The Buffalo Bills had the goal of winning the AFC East, and they did that, which also means they got to host their first playoff game. There is no question this helped them not only win their first playoff game in 25 years, a 27-24 victory over the Colts. This win was certainly big for the Buffalo Bills because it not only meant they were advancing but also they could put the playoff win drought behind them.

The Bills would then go on to win their second playoff game, a 17-3 victory over the Baltimore Ravens, and earn a trip to the AFC East Championship game. This would end up being their first time making this far since 1994, the last time they went to the Super Bowl.

It set up another matchup with the Chiefs, who they played in 1994, but this time the Kansas City Chiefs would come away with the win, a 38-24 victory over the Buffalo Bills.
