First win on MNF since 1999

As was the theme of the 2020 season, the Buffalo Bills accomplished alot that hadn’t been done since the 1990s. One of those accomplishments was winning on Monday Night Football.

The Buffalo Bills prior to this season didn’t have many times to end this streak because the NFL wasn’t regularly scheduling this team in primetime games. That changed this past season as the Bills had four primetime games, including three over a four week period.

The first Monday Night Football game came in Week 13 when they faced the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers jumped out to a 7-0 lead after the first quarter but Josh Allen and the offense took over with 17 straight points in the second quarter to take a 10 point lead into halftime.

In the second half, it was almost all Bills as they continued to build their lead and eventually securing a 34-24 victory and their first win on Monday Night Football since 1999.
