The 2020 Buffalo Bills had an excellent season, but hindsight is 20-20 and there are some areas the Bills could’ve been better in last year’s draft.

After trading for Stefon Diggs in the offseason, the Buffalo Bills were without their first round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. In addition to the first round pick the Bills lost in the Diggs trade they also lost a fifth rounder and a sixth rounder in 2020. However, all Bills fans would agree the Diggs trade was more than worth it considering the numbers Diggs put up and how much his presence positively impacted the entire offense.

Even after the Diggs trade and being without a first rounder, the Bills still had seven picks in the 2020 draft. All things considered, Bills general manager Brandon Beane had a great 2020 Draft, but as mentioned before there is always room for improvement.

With the 2020 season officially in the books, it’s time to retrospectively look at the draft and identify some picks that the Bills could have gone in a different direction.
