Should the Buffalo Bills sign Patrick Peterson?

While the Buffalo Bills need to address the cornerback position this offseason and it is rare for a player of Patrick Peterson’s caliber to enter the free agency market, this does not seem like a good fit for either side.

For the Buffalo Bills, they are entering this offseason with more pressing needs than at cornerback. While it would be nice to have a solid option opposite Tre’Davious White, they have gotten by with players like Levi Wallace and Josh Norman and still been one of the better pass defenses in the NFL.

Even if Brandon Beane felt it was the right move for the roster, this could be a tough sell to Patrick Peterson. The Cardinals’ cornerback has made his feelings known about playing in a zone-heavy scheme and this is not something he would be happy with.

There will likely be plenty of teams lining up to add Patrick Peterson next month but the Buffalo Bills should not be one of those teams.
