Corey Bojorquez

For the past few seasons, there has been a question about whether or not Corey Bojorquez was the answer as the team’s starting punter. The team would regularly bring in competition during the offseason but Bojorquez would end up winning the job every time.

The Bills were fortunate to stick with him because he became one of the best punters in the league this past season. He would finish the regular season with the best average yards per punt at 50.2 yards and tied for the longest punt in the league at 72 yards.

While he wasn’t asked to punt as much this season, with only 41 punts, he played a key role in the Buffalo Bills being able to win the field position battle. The way Bojorquez was able to pin the opposing team deep helped the defense, even when they weren’t playing their best early in the year.
