Buffalo Bills: Cole Beasley and the most underrated players from 2020
The Buffalo Bills won their first AFC East title in more than twenty years and made it to the AFC Championship Game due in large part to some of their stars like Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, and Jordan Poyer.
However, these players weren’t the only reason and over the course of the season, they got some big performances from other players that are often overlooked. These are some of the most underrated players for the Buffalo Bills.
Cole Beasley
One player who was often overlooked for most of his career but started to get more recognition is wide receiver Cole Beasley. The way he played this past season, the league started to take notice and he even was named second-team All-Pro.
While his time as an underrated player may be coming to an end, it is worth mentioning Cole Beasley in this group one more time with the way he played this past season. The Bills’ offense was led mostly by Stefon Diggs but what Beasley was able to do by consistently getting open and being a sure-handed target for Josh Allen was a big boost for this offense.
Beasley finished the year with career highs in receptions (82), targets (107), first downs (53), and receiving yards (967). He also had four receiving touchdowns as well as even a passing touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The veteran presence of Cole Beasley and his play is something that shouldn’t be overlooked when discussing the Bills’ offense this past year.
