Try to re-sign at the right price

This next group is players who were key contributors and the Buffalo Bills would like to have back. However, it has to be at a salary that works within the cap space and not too restrictive to other moves.

The biggest name in this group, and likely the toughest negotiation, will be outside linebacker Matt Milano. He is sure to be a player most teams who need a linebacker will pursue and have the biggest market. It has also been reported that Milano wants top dollar and not willing to give a hometown discount. If this is the case, he will likely be playing with another franchise next year.

Another player in this group is Andre Roberts, who is coming off his third straight Pro Bowl season. He has been one of the best returners in the NFL however at 33 years of age the question is how much longer he can play at this level.

As for players like Dean Marlowe, Taiwan Jones, Isaiah McKenzie, and Del’Shawn Phillips, they all had a role on this team and would be good players to bring back but with the limited cap space the Bills may not be able to bring them back but instead replace them with draft picks or undrafted free agents.
