Buffalo Bills 2020 Season Report Card: Wide Receiver
Gabriel Davis
Even after trading for Stefon Diggs, that didn’t stop Brandon Beane from adding more to the position in the NFL Draft. They selected wide receiver Gabriel Davis in the fourth round and he would start 11 games as a rookie, most of those games in place of the injured John Brown.
Even when John Brown was active, Davis would find a way to make plays and finished the regular season second on the team in receiving touchdowns with seven. In addition to the touchdowns, he had 35 receptions for 599 receiving yards.
One of the reasons the Bills might even consider releasing John Brown this offseason was because of the play of Gabriel Davis. He showed as a rookie he could handle the role and he should only get better in the coming seasons.
