John Brown

This is undoubtedly going to be a tough decision but it would make sense for the Buffalo Bills to cut John Brown this offseason. It is not because he is a bad player but the Bills could free up nearly $8 million in cap space this year if they were to cut him, according to Spotrac.

Brown joined the Bills before the 2019 season and helped the offense, and Josh Allen, take a big step forward as he broke 1,000 receiving yards and had six touchdowns. This past season, he moved into a complementary role with the addition of Stefon Diggs and had a down year due to the role change and some injuries during the course of the year.

The other reason the Bills could release Brown is they already have his replacement on the roster in Gabriel Davis. The fourth round pick had an excellent rookie season and finished second on the team in touchdowns with seven.

During an offseason where the cap space is tight, this is a move the Buffalo Bills likely wouldn’t want to make but would help them make additional moves.
