The Buffalo Bills on Tuesday announced they signed 13 players to reserve/future contracts. These contracts essentially mean these players have agreed to join the Bills but their contracts won’t go into effect until the new league year starts, which is in March.

The Bills know these players well as all 13 players they signed to reserve/future contracts were on the team’s practice squad at some point this season.

While these are typically younger players and most have limited NFL experience, that doesn’t mean they don’t have a good chance at making the active roster this coming season. In fact, of the reserve/future signings last offseason, three players ended up on the active roster and playing regular-season snaps (Tyrel Dodson, Cam Lewis, Del’Shawn Phillips).

These are four players that signed reserve/future contracts that have the best chance to make the active roster this coming season.
