Buffalo Bills: Game grades for every position from AFC Championship
The Buffalo Bills were looking for their first trip since the 1993 season but ultimately fell short by losing to the Kansas City Chiefs by a final score of 38-24 in the AFC Championship Game. These are the grades for each position group for the Buffalo Bills against the Chiefs.
Quarterback
Josh Allen has had a remarkable season and one that saw him break numerous franchise records. He showed incredible development and growth this year, mainly in his accuracy and his decision making.
The worst game he had all season was in Week 6 against these Kansas City Chiefs. While his overall numbers were better than the regular season as he threw for 287 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, one interception, and 88 rushing yards, this Chiefs defense continued to cause problems for the franchise quarterback.
Chiefs’ defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo seemed to have Allen confused on most pre-snaps and he didn’t look comfortable on the field. The Chiefs were able to get steady pressure on Allen and finished the game with four sacks.
It was certainly a disappointing performance to end a rather remarkable season for Josh Allen.
