The Buffalo Bills released their official injury report for the AFC Championship Game on Friday and had only two players listed as questionable. This isn’t surprising as the two players who are questionable, wide receiver Gabriel Davis and defensive tackle Vernon Butler, sat out Wednesday and Thursday.

They were able to return to practice on Friday but it was on a limited basis.

If Gabriel Davis isn’t able to play, the Bills could call up veteran Kenny Stills from the practice squad or have Isaiah McKenzie step into the snaps vacated by Davis’ absence.

As for defensive tackle, if Butler is not able to play, this likely creates more opportunity for Harrison Phillips, who played well against the Ravens, and Justin Zimmer.

The big news for the Buffalo Bills on this injury report though is that outside of Davis, Butler and Jake Fromm, the Bills had every player practice in full on Friday. This includes Cole Beasley, who enters the AFC Championship Game with no injury designation. The Bills starting slot receiver started the week, not on the injury report but was added on Thursday because he was a limited participant.

He returned to being a full participant on Friday so Thursday’s limited practice could have been due to the fact the coaching staff wanted to give him some rest as he has been dealing with a knee injury since Week 16.

In addition to Beasley, Stefon Diggs was also a full participant. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday as he continues to deal with an oblique injury. The good news is that the injury hasn’t impacted his playing time or performance in the first two playoff games of the season.
