The Buffalo Bills could be heading for a high scoring matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs and if that is the case they will need points every time they get the chance. This means rookie kicker Tyler Bass could be a pivotal player to the team’s success on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game.

Bass started his season shaky but finished the regular season very well. He continued that into his first career playoff game when he made a 54-yard field goal in the fourth quarter that sealed the win for the Bills over the Colts.

This past week against the Ravens was a different story as he missed two field goals. However, weather likely played a significant role as Justin Tucker also missed two field goals.

The concern is that the weather in Kansas City is likely not to be much better as rain and wind are in the forecast for Sunday night. In addition, this will be Bass’ first career NFL game playing on the road in front of this size crowd.

How he responds to the pressure on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs could be the deciding factor for whether or not the Buffalo Bills are heading to the Super Bowl.
