Kansas City Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills: How to stream the AFC Championship
The Kansas City Chiefs are hosting the Buffalo Bills with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. Here’s how to stream the game for free with fuboTV.
The matchup in the AFC Championship is set, with the Kansas City Chiefs playing host to the Buffalo Bills.
Back in Week 6, these two teams met on a rainy Monday night. Kansas City won 26-17. Plenty has changed since then, not the least of which being the health of Patrick Mahomes.
It’s a near-certainty that Mahomes will have cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol by the time of kickoff, but he’s also dealing with a foot injury. Beyond limiting his mobility, it appears painful enough that it is impacting his ability to make certain throws.
Not that Mahomes need to be running all over Buffalo, but it certainly raises some concern. At the same time, it was the Kansas City running backs who ran all over the Bills in Week 6 – amassing 245 yards.
For the Bills, it would seem that generating pressure with their front four will be key. Not like that’s much of a surprise – most team’s that beat Kansas City have to do it that way.
They tried in Week 6, because they didn’t blitz the entire game. Steven Ruiz at FTW/USA Today pointed out that it was the first time in five seasons that a team didn’t blitz during a game.
Kansas City, on the flipside, went pretty blitz-heavy in that game. If they repeat that attack in the AFC Championship game, then it will be up to Josh Allen to navigate the coverage under duress.
Having a safety blanket like Stefon Diggs surely helps with that.
We’ll see who comes out on top this Sunday.
